Brien Cree
Chief Executive

Brien Cree is Chief Executive, a Director and the majority Shareholder of Radius Residential Care Limited. He has 19 years experience in the aged care and retirement village industries. Brien has an in-depth knowledge of the industry. He was been an owner operator and business broker specialising in aged care and understands the industry from acquisition, development and operational perspectives.

Under Brien's leadership Radius Residential Care has grown from one rest home in 2003 to 20 aged care facilities. In total Brien is responsible for more than 1,300 staff and over 1,500 residents.

Brien is passionate about the industry and has been active on issues ranging from financing and portfolio development through to industry and sector commentary. His opinion is sought on a broad range of issues affecting the elderly.

Brien lives in Auckland with his family and enjoys a passion for surfing, boating and riding his Harley-Davidson.



Wendy Turner
Chief Operating Officer

Wendy is a Registered Nurse with a genuine desire to ensure older people receive positive healthcare outcomes.

Wendy has extensive experience in both Residential Care and Retirement Village sectors, and has previously been employed in Nurse Manager, Care Director and Village Manager positions.

Wendy maintains a keen interest in the clinical arena, through formulation of organizational care guidelines and policy development and blends this with a strong business management focus to facilitate optimal oversight of operations.

 



Suzanne Recchia
Chief Financial Officer

Suzanne is a qualified accountant with a strong background in management of finance processes and business strategy.   

Suzanne has worked for a wide range of companies, including a leading accounting firm and listed healthcare company, with a desire to continue working within the healthcare sector. 

Being passionate about business process improvement and service delivery, she brings broad management experience to oversee the continued improvement of these critical business areas.

 



Ann Bedford
National Operations Manager RCS

Ann is a Registered Nurse and qualified Educator with a strong background in both Community Health and Nurse Education .

Further studies saw her move into the business field as Head of Sales and Marketing for a manufacturing company where she gained experience in both the national and international business arenas.

A desire to return to her roots saw her take a management role in the Community Health sector then on to a consulting position with Clarence Consulting Group Ltd prior to coming to Radius Care Solutions.



Steven Heesen
Business Developmant Manager

In 2003 Steven began his career in the Aged Care Industry as Regional Manager for one of New Zealand’s largest Home Based Care Providers. 

Steven has an extensive background in the hospitality industry both within New Zealand and in the international arena.  His qualifications are in hospitality business management.  Steven believes the similarities between leading a team of people to provide quality care versus providing quality hospitality are many.

With Steven’s recent move to Radius Residential Care he feels as though he has found his niche, providing people with a comfortable home where they’re looked after well through providing leadership to like-minded people.  “I find it tremendously rewarding and the returns to me are an unparalleled amount of job satisfaction”.



Linda Venables
Nth Is Ops Manager

Linda is a registered nurse, trained at Whangarei Base Hospital, with 20 years experience in aged care. She has previously worked as a RN, Nurse Manager & has been involved in a research programme with Auckland University on promoting independence in residential care (PIRC study) in numerous facilities throughout Auckland & Christchurch.

Most recently she has been involved with Waitemata DHB implementing RN guidelines for aged care.

Linda believes the education of our staff is paramount to providing high quality care to our clients, their families & the allied health professionals we work with.



Robyn Bowie
Sth Is Ops Manager

Robyn Bowie is the Facility Manager of Radius Fulton Care Centre in Dunedin and South Island Operations Manager. She has had 14 years experience in aged care and has worked in many areas of the industry from Diversional Therapy through to administration management.

Robyn has an extensive background working with various committees and has a wide knowledge of the community that she works in.

Robyn has a strong belief in being able to promote individuality in client focused care, and has enjoyed being able to work with other managers that share her passion in providing the very best of care.
